Prayer Requests and Sick Call Announcement
Please remember in prayers: All our service men and women; Fr. David Hannes of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Parish, Flushing, Michigan; Sean Glanville, Vic and his children, Rose Mayer, and Joseph Seper (Greg’s father), as they continue their recoveries; for the health and speedy recovery of Corinne Walentik and Christine Lampe; and for young Michael Conger, as he valiantly continues to battle leukemia. Remember in prayer those not listed who may be in any need.
  • Please let a priest know of a need for a sick call visit, whether for you, your family or a parishioner. Don’t assume they know.

  • Eparchial News:
Seal of the Eparchy of ParmaBishop John to Visit
The Eparchy has announced Bishop John’s pastoral visitation schedule for this year. The St. Louis Mission is on his schedule for Thursday, December 4th. He will visit with Fr. Selzer in the afternoon, followed by a meeting (possibly a dinner) in the evening with the Parish members. A Divine Liturgy is not planned. Watch the bulletin for more details as the date approaches..

    2008/2009 Stewardship Appeal
    Christ our Hope Banner
The Annual Stewardship Appeal is underway for the Eparchy. You should have received a letter from Parma containing a pledge form and an Appeal letter from Bishop John. If you did not receive one, please contact Fr. Selzer. The Parish will collect and forward the Pledge forms and initial payments. Place your from and initial payment in an envelope and drop in in with the weekly offering when it is collected. The deadline will be announced soon.

To quote Bishop John, “Please participate in the on-going parish formation. Please be generous to the Stewardship Appeal. Please be part of the preparation for the 40th Anniversary next year. Your Church Depends on you. The world depends on us.”
